Kim LaDell Gibbs, formerly of Portage, Utah, died Sunday, August 31, 1997 at his home.
He was born April 5, 1956 in Salt Lake City, a son of Lorin LaDell and Lois "Jeanine" Wright Gibbs. He served a mission for the LDS Church in San Diego, Calif. Upon his return, he met and married Diane Westenskow in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survivors include his wife and children: Jared, Jenny and Emily of West Jordan; his mother of Portage; his brothers and sisters, Julie Richins, Debra Gibbs, Randy Gibbs, Blake Gibbs, Todd Gibbs, Carrie John and Alysia Gibbs. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 4, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Westbrook 2nd LDS Ward, 4113 W. 6200 So. Friends may call at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and 9:30-10:45 a.m., Thursday at the church. In addition, there will be one hour viewing at approximately at 3 p.m. in the Portage LDS Ward, Portage, Utah before interment in the Portage Cemetery. Funeral directors: Memorial Estates Mortuary.
