Wanda Lee Wright Caldwell, age 68, of Knoxville, joined her Heavenly family on Wednesday, January 14th at University of Tennessee Medical Center. Wanda was a devoted mother and grandmother. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her children and grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She was also the previous owner of Granny’s Kitchen/Restaurant in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nola Wright; her sisters Alice Fox, Barbara Lewellyn, Margaret Smith, Pat Harmon; and her brothers Bill Cordell, Jim Bob Wright, Biggen Wright. Wanda is survived by Alfred Caldwell, sons John (wife Sandy) and Marty Caldwell; beloved grandchildren: John, Cody, Miranda, Jake, Joey, Lexi, Matthew, Michelle, Sean, and Noah; sisters Linda Bounds and Dianne Carney; and brothers Steve (wife Goldie), John, and Joe Wright; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday January 16, from 5:00-7:00 PM with a service immediately following at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Dotson and John McCann officiating.
