ESTHER MARIE CAVE, age 74, of Gainesville, VA, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 5, 1939, in Arlington, VA, the daughter of the late James H. and Mary E. (Simpson) Adams. She retired from the Fairfax County Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Cave. Survivors include her daughters, Linda M. Ours and husband Brady, Victoria L. Harris and husband Lonnie; sister, Mary M. Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Shana Ours, Amanda McLearen, Elizabeth Hilliard; great grandchildren, Jonathan Kuglistsh and Braelyn McLearen.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA. A Mass will be held at 11:00am Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Rd, Gainesville, VA, Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Springs, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
