Son of Bernard McLindon of Ireland. Peter married Teresa Campbell on May 11, 1869, in Wolsingham, England. They had ten children:Bernard, Sara, Patrick, Andrew, James, Letitia, Petrus, John, Annie & Mary. In 1900 he left his wife and children to emigrate to America. Settling in Sharon Pennsylvania. Before he could send for his wife, she died in Durham England. Later a few of his children followed. Residence at time of death, (stomach cancer) was 82 High St. Sharon, PA.
