Hugh was known and loved by many, but none loved him more than his family. Hugh married his high school sweetheart Kathy Roberts and they built a good life together. They raised 2 sons and a grandson.
Hugh referred to his wife Kathy, "as the love of his life", with his last breaths.
He was known to his family as Butch. Everyone respected and admired their big brother and although he had 2 older sisters, they too looked up to him. As did the entire family.
Hugh was a Jefferson High School graturate in Tampa Fl in 1961, however like many of the teens from that era in that area considered himself a Titusville high school alumni as well.
He was an intelligent, hard working, generous man that helps many during his 72 years on earth.
He loved spending time on his Ham radio and the many ham friends he made since taking it up in 1970.
He had several interesting jobs in his life. Working with such companies as Bellsouth and AT&T. At the end of his career he retired as Senior Vice-President with the engineering firm Porter communications.
There is so much to be said about this larger than life man and my hope is that others will share their memories in the comment section along with any pictures they may have.
Hugh did not want a funeral nor obituary so none were prepared. This page is just a place to say our fairwells, share memories, show love and link him to family.
