Sean D. Rogers, age 23, of Knoxville, passed away February 16, 2015. He was a graduate of Karns High School. Sean was a gifted musician and loved playing lead guitar in the band, Southern Drift with his uncle Mike. He had a special bond with his two nieces and his nephew and loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Boyd & Opal Bowling, and Hiram & Joda Lee Day; cousin, Christopher Wayne Heath. He is survived by his mother, Kelly Day Weaver; and special step-father, Steve Weaver; sister, Bridget Presley Edwards; grandparents, Hiram & Wanda Day; nieces, McKenzie & Miranda; nephew, Eli; uncles, Steve (Sheila) Day, Michael (Addie) Day; aunt, Emily (Tim) Rowe, and many cherished cousins. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow at 2pm. Friends and family will meet at 10:45 am Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery to graveside services at 11am. Serving as pallbearers will be: Scott Heath, Joe Day, Noah Day, James White, Chris Fox, Cody Gwinn, Anthony Elliott, and Tommy Cooper. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel in charge of arrangements.
