He was born to T. Warren and Ethelreda (Leider) Peacock Jan. 18, 1947, at St. Anne’s Hospital. Mike attended St. James School through grade eight, followed by attendance at Aquinas High School, graduating in 1965.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1966, and after completion of basic training, became a hospital corpsman and was stationed first at the Newport, R.I., Naval Hospital, and then with the 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Medical Battalion in Vietnam from 1968 and 1969. Mike was awarded the “secretary of the Navy’s achievement medal with valor” for his duty and service with the 2nd Platoon Alpha 1/3 Marines during the Vietnam conflict. After being honorably discharge from the Navy, he moved to Los Angeles, and worked for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. He completed his career as an administrative consultant and supervisor after 39 years.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles; as well as a close cousin, Mary K. (Jack) Mills of Onalaska.
