ANISE LOUISE POLING CURTISS, 80, of KEYPORT, died yesterday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a homemaker and a generous and giving grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched in her very special way. Born in Van Wert, Ohio, she lived in Coldwater, Mich., Brick and Hazlet before moving to Keyport.
Her husband of 52 years, Robert Curtiss, died in 1988. Surviving are four sons, Roger Curtiss of Bozeman, Mont., Gerald Curtiss of New South Wales, Australia, Craig of California, and Robert Curtiss of Howell; four daughters,
Nova Jean Fralick of Coldwater, Mich., Paulette Curtiss of Bloomington, Ill., Merrie Walsh of Murrietta, Calif., and Bonnie Wheet of Spotsylvania, Va.; a brother, Gaylord Poling of Lancaster, Pa.; 25 grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathon, Becky, Judith and JoAnna Fralick, Allynne, Stacy and Brantley Curtiss, Mark, Lori, and Donald Jensen, Christine and Robbie Curtiss, Julie, Laura, Darcy, Christopher and Dawn (Pam) Curtiss, Jason and Joshua Sherman,
Bryne and Rachel Curtiss, Deanna and Patrick Walsh, and Elizabeth Wheet; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery.
