Funeral service for Ms. Peggy Ann Kirkland Baldwin, 70, of Anniston, will be today July 14, 2015, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Keith Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Dogwood Trails Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday, July 13, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Baldwin passed away on July 11, 2015, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Mark Baldwin, Patsy Slate, Vickie Hilliard, Roy P. Baldwin, Tina Baldwin; 16 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; sister, Goldie McGathy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pierce and Odessa Kirkland.
Ms. Baldwin was a God loving, faithful Christian. She was a mother and father to all of her children and loved them all equally. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ms. Baldwin was an excellent Southern cook and loved going to church to worship the Lord. She was devoted to her husband and was free hearted. Ms. Baldwin will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
