MRS ROBERT ALEXANDER BOYLE, widow of the Rev Dr Robert A Boyle, died at Williamsport Wednesday morning after a long illness.
Mrs. Boyle was the daughter of James Findlay and Roberta Carter Findlay, and was born at Tammany, near Williamsport. Rev Mr. Boyle, her husband, was for many years pastor of the Presbyterian Church here. Mrs. Boyle had been active in the religious and civic life of this community for many years, and had resided here for some years following the death of her husband.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. John Knowles of New York City.
Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Church here with services on Thursday morning at 11 am, the Rev H Russell Butcher officiating. Interment in the Williamsport Cemetery.
