Rebecca "Audrey" Payne , 94, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015. Born in Jay County, IN she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Alpha Yaney. Audrey worked with General Telephone for 15.5 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church and their Women's Missionary Council. She taught Sunday School for many years. Audrey enjoyed reading, gardening, baking pies, puzzles and spending time with her family. Surviving are son, Ronald Payne of Angola, daughters, Myrenia Millen of Cincinnati, OH, Rebecca (Ron) Yauchzee of Greeley, CO, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Haldon Payne, and her seven siblings. Service is 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling from 11:00 am until the service, Rev. Robert Arenobine officiating. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Brethren Church Missions or Grace College at Winona Lake.
