Mary Elizabeth Adams Wedgwood was one of five children born to Simeon Adams and his wife Caroline L. Fluent.

Mary was united in marriage on March 15, 1853 in Corinna, Maine to Stephen S. Wedgwood. Mayr and Stephen were blessed with the birth of two children during their 39 year marriage:

George Wedgwood
Rossi C. Wedgwood Hope

Mary was left a widow at the age of 60 when her husband Stephen passed away. She passed away at the age of 81, nineteen years after her husband, due to heart failure following acute gastritis according to her death record.
