N. O. Ramsey dies after Short Illness
Nathaniel Orron Ramsey, age 55, of Chatham, died Tuesday, February 3 at his home after a short illness. He was a farmer.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, Feb 4 in the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Rev. C. C. Milstead conducted the services.
Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Ramsey of Chatham; five brothers, Jesse Ramsey, Alvin Ramsey and Ernest Ramsey, all of Olla, Clyde Ramsey and Clifton Ramsey, both of Chatham;
Four sisters, Mrs. Irene Barr of Ruston, Mrs. Marie McElroy and Mrs. Mildred Taylor, both of West Monroe and Mrs. Bessie Walker of Simsboro.
