Kay was born August 28, 1936 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of Oscar and Lola (Harris) Bradbury. Her family lived in Jay Em, Wyoming until she was seven, then spent one year in Lingle, Wyoming before moving to Torrington where she attended school and graduated high school.
She married Vivian "Bud" Ramsey on October 31, 1953 in Rapid City, South Dakota. In the early part of her marriage she cleaned housed for people and then worked as a nurse’s aide at the hospital. Later she was a homemaker and raised her family.
Kay enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, handcrafts, Bingo, Bible study, gardening, and did a lot of reading.
Kay is survived by her sons Steven Ramsey and Rodney Ramsey both of Casper, Wyoming; a daughter Sabrina Ramsey and her soul mate Rick VanPelt of Torrington, Wyoming; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bud; and a son David Wayne Ramsey.
