Frank J. Bergeron, a pioneer resident of Houston and a veteran of the Confederate army, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence or his son-in-law, J. E. Riordan, 3405 Main street. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock today from Sacred Heart church, Rev. Father Nicholson officiating, and interment will be made in Glenwood cemetery.
The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. E. Riordan and Misses Claude and Maud Bergeron; two sons, Messrs. Wirt J. and Perl J. Bergeron; a sister, Mrs. A. B. Lee, and a brother, Rufus Beal.
The following will serve as pallbearers: John Sweeney, Joe Mather, Ben Riesner, L. Macatee, Sr., Still Hull and John Collins.
