Bernard Graham, 48, of Hiawatha, died early Wednesday in a Princeton hospital following a short illness.

He was born at Hiawatha and was a son of Mrs. Nona Graham and the late Homer Graham. He was a former employee of Pocahontas fuel Company at Dott, a member of UMWA Local 6039 and was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his widow, Delores Jones Graham; one daughter, Mrs. Deliah Weise of Hiawatha; five sons, Michael Graham, Benny Graham, Jimmy Graham, Roy Graham and Ronnie Graham, all of Princeton; three brothers, Roger Graham and Junior Graham, both of Hiawatha and Don Graham of Toledo, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Stables of Matoaka, Mrs. Eunice Wall of Lashmeet, Mrs. Norma Jean Burton of Princeton and Mrs. Mozelle Gillespie of Hiawatha.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bailey Funeral Chapel in Princeton with Rev. William Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
