William F. “Dick” Gillespie, age 80, of Richlands, VA passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home.
He was born on May 3, 1935 in Marion, Virginia and was the son of the late William “Red” and Mabel Catherine Shamblin Gillespie. William was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Tazewell County P.S.A. and lived all of his life in Tazewell County. He was a great and beloved father, husband, pawpaw, and brother.

Half-sister: Mildred Angles and two brothers: Jim Gillespie and Dan Gillespie.
Those left to cherish his memory are:

Daughter: Melissa Lester and husband, Mark of Richlands, Virginia
Son: William J. “Billy” Gillespie of Richlands, Virginia

Rose Gillespie of Cedar Bluff, Virginia
Four Grandchildren:

Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Nephews and family will serve as pallbearers.
