Dennis died after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was the son of Orville F. Spencer Jr. and Faye E. Alsup Spencer. He married Marie A Jacobs May 12, 1972 in Elkhorn, N.D.
Dennis served with the Air Force in Vietnam. He owned and operated Spencer and Coffman Accounting, retiring after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Troy and Shad, and several grandchildren. He was an only child.
