Kathryn was born in Raleigh, to the late John E. and Leta (Parmley) Jones.
Kathryn was 85 years young and is survived by her husband, John Mullinix; three children, Deanna Claypool, Ted Wallace and Tammy (Art) Cook; Three sisters, Norma Hazel, Helen Jenkins and Patsy Walsh; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her late husband "Roosty" Wallace; grandson, Cody Cook, sister, Dorothy Dearing; and brother, John Jones.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, in Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, with the Rev. Kevin Peyton officiating.
Burial will be in Webber Cemetery in Galatia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Harrisburg Golden Circle, P.O. Box 262, Harrisburg, IL. 62946
Kathryn enjoyed many happy hours at the Golden Circle.
