Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie A. Graden Stevens; his parents Marion (nee Shafer) and John Stevens and a sister, Betty Lou Stevens.
Frank was born in Covington, KY and grew up in Ludlow, KY in a close knit family and community.
He attended Grace Reformed Lutheran Church, played league basketball and was a graduate of Covington Holmes High School in Covington, KY. He served his country as a US Army nurse, during the Korean War.
Frank met, courted, married Marjorie and started their family while in the service and working on his degree. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati and worked as a consumer research chemist with Polacoat, Jergens, A. E. Staley and Sherex. His projects included polarized lenses, lotion formulations, marshmallow cream, toilet cleaner, air fresheners, hair conditioners and dryer sheets. He had three US and one Canadian patent.
Frank was a loving Christian husband and father. He had an understated sense of humor, teasing anyone, anytime. Often the good-natured joke would last for years. He enjoyed hunting, golf, scuba diving and fishing. He and Marjorie traveled a lot, enjoying the Caribbean, Greece, Israel, France and England.
Finally after touring most of the US they settled in Tallahassee, FL where Frank would fish as often as he could get to the ocean. He is loved and will always be with us.
