ROCKFORD – Rebecca “Becky” Lynn Rose, age 53, of Rockford quietly departed this life on January 30, 2015. She was born to Leonard & Gertrude Rose (Sheperd) on August 31, 1961 in Marysville, CA.

In her early years she attended East High School in Rockford. She worked many years in the Rockford area. In December 2005 Becky received the Lord through her Baptism at the Silver Hill Pentecostal Church in Rockford.

Becky was a lady that when she entered the room you knew she was there. Becky's light shined through her zesty personality. She loved her family and friends and was devoted as an active member of AA. Becky was always giving to the less fortunate without concern for herself. She recently began attending Victory Outreach where she reaffirmed her love for God. She lived by the motto “Life's a bumpy road, take your shoes off and experience it!”

God's grace and strength will be extended to her surviving family members. She leaves daughters, Cortney Rose and Kara Beman; sisters, Rhonda Bishop, Peggy Rose and Jean Dunbar; brothers, Tom Rose and Jeff Rose; 6 grandchildren; devoted life friend, David Symonds; and her beloved dog, Boogie Head.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Victory Outreach, 832 Sanford St., Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting with arrangements.
