MELDRIM - Paul Dean Vinton, 56, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at his home.
The Iowa native lived in Effingham County many years. He was a builder, a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of Guyton Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bette Vinton, and brother Gary Vinton.
Surviving are a son, Justin Vinton of Guyton; daughters Ashley Knight and Brittany Vinton, both of Guyton; brother Craig Vinton of Conrad, Iowa; and sisters Becky Warbarton of Radcliffe, Iowa, and Lorri Aiken of Beaman, Iowa.
Memorial services at Guyton Christian Church with the Rev. David Grandgeorge officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Iowa.
