She was born on April 10, 1911 in Megargel, Texas to William D. Sidwell and Della Hamby Sidwell.

She leaves behind her three children: Derrell Gough of Carlsbad, NM, ZoAnn Wilson of Midland, Texas, Carl Gough of Oklahoma City, and her sister Zona Smith of Mineral Wells, Texas. She also shared her life with 12 grandchildren and 3 generations of great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and her beloved Mama Cat.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years: J.D. Gough, her son: Don Gough, her sisters: Eloise Ellis and Ioia Machen, and brother: Joe Sidwell.

Granny was a gentle soul who found her joy thru the children that she shared her life with and loved so much. She appreciated the small gifts of God: her flowers, feeding the birds and all wonders of nature. She was strong and independent and was able to live on her own until shortly before her death.

Her last years were filled with love by her friends and neighbors. A special thanks to Dian Weaver, Minnie Griffis, Tammy Collum, and Dolores and Willie Jackson. She loved all of you and believed that you truly are God's Angels.

We shall never pass this way again, but what a wonderful journey it was.
