Anthony Caranci of St. Charles A funeral Mass for Anthony Caranci, 60, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at St. Patrick Crane Road Church, St. Charles. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St. (corner of Route 64 and Route 25), St. Charles. Born April 21, 1947, in Masteth, N.Y., to Gabriel and Vincetta Caranci, he died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mr. Caranci was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Charles, where he worked at the Crane Road Church for the past six years. Mr. Caranci is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Kristyn; his mother, sister, Loretta DiPillo, and his niece, Gabriella, all of Bloomingdale. He was preceded in death by his father.
