Richard May, Sr, Passes Away at His Home Here

Richard May, Sr one of the old time mining men of this district passed away at his home in this city last Tuesday night after a lingering illness. The deceased had been in poor health for some time but the direct cause of his death was due to miner's consumption. Mr. May was 56 year 1 month and 10 days old at the time of his death. He was born in England and when but a young men he came to America becoming identified with the Tintic camp some twenty years ago.

The deceased leaves a wife and nine children: Arthur, Mattie, Helen, Richard Jr. Edna, Effie, Harrie, William and Mrs. Walter Moulting of Park City.

Funeral services were held from the St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon and interment was made in the city cemetery.
