The family of Thomas Jefferson Hurst, III was by his side when he passed away July 6, 2015, in Memphis at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Jeff was born March 19, 1960, in Corinth, Mississippi. Jeff was a graduate of Corinth High School class of 1978. He was employed by Caterpillar for twenty-six years. He also was a coach at the Corinth YMCA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Laverne Roach Hurst and Thomas Jefferson Hurst, Jr., and his youngest son, George Alexander Hurst. He is survived by his two sisters and by his oldest son.
Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth, Mississippi is handling arrangements. Visitation will be there Friday, July 10th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The service will be in the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, July 11th at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest beside his son at Henry Cemetery.
