There have been multiple pit stops during Chris Allen Rogers' life; however, on Tuesday July 7th, Chris completed his final lap.

He was known by many names, depending on how you met him, "Cowboy", "Lawnmower Man", "Snowman", "Mr. Peanut", "Crazy Chris." The list goes on. He also had a passion for giving nicknames to those he met along the way. Even if you didn't receive a nickname from him, he always wanted to put a smile on everyone's face. His passion for nicknames was nowhere near his passion for catch phrases!

Those who heard these phrases maybe one too many times: the love of his life, Nancy Rogers "Adrian"; the lights of his life: his son, Chris ; daughter, Letisha ; and big brother, Cody

Chris just always wanted to be himself and didn't care what people thought about him, from his time in the Army watching fire in the sky out west to his days spent home on the east side, fixing mowers and houses for the neighborhood. Even in these last few months when times got rough and more than any one person should ever have to endure, he showed us all that the real super heroes don't wear capes.

A graveside service will be at noon, Monday, July 13, 2015, at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
