Clara was the daughter of Harry Montgomery Salter and Maggie HAM SALTER. She married William Curtis Jeffries, 30 May 1900, in Phenix City, AL.
She was the perfect grandmother. She loved western and horror movies. She was wonderful at doing needlework and a great cook.
Her mother died when she was 12 years old and she was raised by her Aunt Sweet, Mattie Ham.

She was short and about as round as she was tall.
She was so sweet and had spunk. She had a stroke once and she was determined to get back to normal. And she did! She worked very hard at her exercises and returned to all of her normal activities. She was very, very special.
I still miss her.
