She was born in Paris Texas, on Sept. 19, 1922.
During the war effort in 1943 she met her husband of 54 years, USAF pilot Gene M. Gordon, at a factory where she packed parachutes.
She was the loving mother of four: Gene M. Gordon II, Pamela Filkins, Marsha Maher, and Debra Lynn Hahn. The grandmother of 10, the great-grandmother of 12, and the great-great-grandmother of one.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and daughter Pamela.
Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to: Kindred Hospice of Huntsville.
