HENDRICKS, Norma Jean (nee: Tarter) age 88 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, March 15, 2021 at her home. Norma was born January 04, 1933 in Phil, Kentucky, the daughter of Oudie Pierce and Lula Grace (nee: Sharp) Tarter. She worked for many years as a secretary for the David Shoe Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. In her free time she loved to go to live shows and concerts, and loved Elvis. She even enjoyed roller skating in her younger years, at one time skating three evening a week! She was also an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, and loved watching Bronson Arroyo. She had a major sweet tooth and loved desserts, but her absolute favorite was brownies. Most of all though, she loved her family. No matter if you were her child, grandchild, or great-grandchild, she had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the world. She loved taking care of her family.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Herbert Joseph Hendricks in 1999, a daughter Sandra Gentry; and her sisters Christine Patterson, Loreen Tarter, and Dorothy Ponder. She leaves behind daughters Sharon Gonzales and Teresa Benner; brother Jerry Tarter; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11am at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
