Michele Sue Montgomery, 27, of Athens Alabama passed away on July 5th as the result of a tragic car accident.
Michele was born on June 7, 1988 in Aurora, Ohio where she attended school through the 11th grade. In 2005, Michele’s family moved to Athens, Alabama where she completed high school. She was a senior at Athens State University at the time of her death.
Michele is survived by her parents Patrick and Sue (Sharp) Montgomery, brother Michael Montgomery, and sister Melissa Leonardi (husband Scott), and her only niece Milania Leonardi. She comes from two large immediate families with seven uncles, five aunts and 16 first cousins and 33 second cousins.
Services will be held at the Madison Chapel Funeral Home with calling hours on Friday, July 10th from 5:00-8:00 pm and a service on Saturday at 2:30 pm followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, AL.
