Dr. Charles Daniel Nunnally, age 83, of Acworth, departed to heaven on July 8, 2015.

He was a member of Shiloh Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. His love of Jesus was shared with all that he encountered. His career consisted of Christian education and Real Estate Brokerage. He was a member of Gideons International. He received his BA from Baptist University of America. He received a Master and Doctorate in Theology from Antioch Bible College. He was Outstanding Young Man of the Year in 1963, served in the Rotary Club, Smyrna Jaycees, and softball coach.

He was preceded in death by parents Claude and Jessie Nunnally, son, David, brothers Claude, and James, sisters, Margaret and Louise.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Grace, of 63 years, son , Dennis and Connie Nunnally, daughter, Karen and Lamar Harber, daughter, Janet Nunnally, grandchildren, Dr. Kristina Mendoza, William Mendoza, Davi and Matt Hudson, great grandchildren, Reagan, Theodore, brothers, Clyde, Tribble, Larry, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00PM at Shiloh Hills Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, 475 Dickson Avenue Marietta, GA 30064.
