James Russell Boldman, 41, of Monticello formerly of Kentland, passed away Nov. 23, 2009 at Regency Place Nursing Facility in Lafayette. He was born Sept. 1, 1968, in Aurora, Ill., the son of Phillip and Pat (Eichelberg) Boldman of Kentland. Jim graduated from South Newton High School in 1987. He lived in Terre Haute, for four years and had lived in Monticello since February of 2008.

He spent several years serving his country in the Indiana National Guard and the U.S. Army serving in both Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was a factory laborer in production. Surviving along with his parents of Kentland are a son, Philip R. Boldman of Indiana, siblings, Heather (Frank) Green of Lake Village, William "Bill" (Kimberly) Boldman of Elkhart, Ind., and April Boldman of Yorkville, Ill.

A visitation with the family was held Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. (Kentland time) at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 11233 S 500 W, Kentland. Dr. James Blanchard officiated the services.
