KUYKENDALL, JANE GILMORE, born March 19, 1920 in Dallas, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 in Arlington, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Faires Kuykendall, Arlington, her sister Mae Ruth Harris, Plano, son and daughter-in-law Randy and Gwen Gilmore, Kiawah Island, South Carolina, daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Mike Gillett, Plano, grandchildren Stacy Hicks, Brett and Dee Ann Gilmore, Kelley and Carl Loredo and Amy Gillett, great granddaughter Haylee Hicks, and stepdaughters Brenda Chandler, Arlington, and Bette Kay Cox, Fort Worth. Jane was preceded in death by Robert O. Gilmore. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth and was an active member of The Twosome Class. In the 1950's and 60's, Jane taught kindergarten at Champion's School of Dallas and later was a teacher's aid at Daniel Webster Elementaty in, Dallas. Jane's immense love of life, family, and friends will be celebrated at a memorial to be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 31st in the chapel of Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 South R. L. Thornton Expressway, Dallas. A viewing will be held for friends and family at Laurel Land before the memorial celebration 1-2 pm.
