Sue E. Peters passed away peacefully at age 71 on May 7, 2015, after a courageous nine month battle with cancer. She was born January 10, 1944 in Sturgis, MI, the only child of Betty Dale (Edgington) Hunsberger and Donald Raymond Hunsberger. She graduated from Sturgis Public Schools and Western Michigan University, and worked for the Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company in Kalamazoo and the Wm. Beane Engineering Company in Detroit. After her children were older, she began 26 years of work in Ohio and MI schools; the last 21 years at the Oakland County Intermediate School District. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren, casino trips with girlfriends, and cruising to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wayne, two children and four grandchildren.
