Isaac was a son of Balthaser Bordner and Maria Magdalena Emerich of Northumberland County,PA. He moved from Pennsylvania to near Bristol in 1856 and resided at the same place until his death. In 1848 he was married to Magdalena Eyster, and to them was born three children, two of whom are now living. His companion died in 1870. Deceased made his home with the surviving children, a married son and a single daughter, who reside in the old homestead. Besides the son and daughter, there are four grandsons, one grand-daughter and many friends and neighbors who will miss this well known friend and father.
Funeral services were held at Zion Church, Thursday Aug. 24, at 11 A.M., and we're conducted by Rev. J. W. Bowen of Bristol
