Randy Eugene Moon, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday, February 21, 2004 in a Dothan hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident, which occurred Thursday, February 19, 2004. He was 28.

Korean-American funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerrie Bass and Pastor Jin Hun Kim officiating. There will be special music by Ae-Soon Kim, Pastor Jin Hun Kim and Rev. Jerrie Bass. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Byrd Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday.

Randy was born January 9, 1976 in Nuremberg, Germany and moved to Dothan at an early age. He was a 1994 graduate of Northview High School and a 1997 graduate of George C. Wallace Community College. He was employed with AT&T Wireless Communication for the past several years. Randy was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his parents, James and Wol Ye Kim Moon, Dothan; a brother, Chong Uk Suk and his wife, Kyung Lan, New Jersey; three sisters, Chong Hui-Shen and her husband James, San Jose, CA, Oki Katzenberger, and her husband Tom, Baltimore, MD, Tracy Lynn Garcia, and her husband, Gregory, San Diego, CA; his grandmother, Flora Crisel, West Frankfort, IL; nieces and nephews, Anna and Henry Shen and Thomas and Rachel Katzenberger; numerous aunts, uncles, and many special friends.
