Was born 10/23/1929 to Frank and Josephine Nickerson and died 6/17/15. Lifelong Seattle resident, she is survived by her children Jody (Mike), Frank (Kathy), Matthew; grandchildren Brian (Dana), Kelsey (Jim), John (Erin), Caitlin, Carolyn; great-grandchildren Lincoln and Felix. Preceded in death by children John and Mary and her parents.
A proud graduate of Holy Rosary HS, Seattle U and UW, Ellen worked as a registered nurse for more than 40 years in area hospitals, nursing homes and recovery centers. She loved her children, but her greatest loves were her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the Mariners!
Funeral service will be held at Holyrood Cemetery Chapel (205 NE 205th St., Shoreline) on Monday, July 20th at 11:00 am, followed by burial. Join the family for food and stories after at the home of Jody and Mike.
