Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God of Prophecy (Dade Street), with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950. A native of Cairo, GA, she had lived in Tallahassee for over 18 years. She was a home health care provider and a devout Christian; she attended Holy Temple of Miraculous Works Church.
Cherishing precious memories are her daughter, Oprah Brooks; son, Donae Nelson; mother, Margaret Brooks (Steve) Nelson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends. Her siblings, Steve, Charles and Vandine Nelson and Juanita Brooks, all preceded her in death.
