Audra Faye Woodfin was born June 28, 1934 in Leuders, Texas to parents, Frank James Woodfin and Bonnie D. Cox Woodfin. At 16 months, her family moved to Albany. She grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1952. Over the years, Audra Faye worked as a manager for apartments in Azle and Alvarado for Green Development, as well as for Albany Village Apartments in Albany for five years. She also worked as a secretary at First Baptist Church in Albany for 8 years where she was also an active member. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bonnie Woodfin; one sister, Nora Ellen Woodfin Hawkins; one brother, B.F. Tuffy Woodfin; one brother-in-law, Raymond Leon Hawkins, and one niece, Teresa Jo Woodfin Clark.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by four sons, Mart G. Halbert, Jr. and wife Laura of Eden, Wyoming, James P. Halbert and wife Susan of Burnet, Phillip W. Halbert and wife Leesa of Albany, Johnny Mac Halbert and wife Wendy of Glenwood, Iowa; one daughter, Andera “Ande” Grandey and husband Trent of Fort Worth; three brothers, J. Brooks Woodfin and wife Georgeann of Weatherford, Frankie Joe Woodfin and wife Edna of Houston, Paul Mac Woodfin and wife Missy of Houston; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, one niece, Debra K. Woodfin, held a special place in her heart.
