Leonard was born Nov 14, 1928 in Fort Ashby,WV. He was raised in Hendricks,WV and attended school in Parsons, WV.
Leonard served in the U.S. Army as a cook from 1950-1953.
In 1952 he met his wonderful wife Loraine in Oakland MD. After raising six children, the family moved to Cocoa, Florida in 1972.
Leonard and Loraine retired to Point, WV in 1984 continuing his life-long enjoyment of hunting, fishing and farming. Leonard possessed amazing talents in these areas.
Upon becoming ill in 2010, he returned to Cocoa, FL to be near family.
Leonard was preceded in death by his son Leonard Dale Fowler. Leonard leaves behind his wife Loraine of 62 years, children Dallas(Margie) Fowler, Sue(Dave) Jones, of Cocoa, Barbara(Ronnie) Moreland of Points, WV, Donna(Ron) Throm and Raymond Fowler of Cocoa, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
