Missouri Death records indicate that 2 year old Callie Everhart died of diphtheria and was buried in the Cat Creek Cemetery, Harrison County. The records did not indicate the parents' name, and the grave is currently unmarked. However, from the birth order, it appears that Callie (or Caroline) most likely was the second child of Calvin and Mary Everhart.
Her father, Calvin Luther Everhart, was also buried in the Cat Creek Cemetery in a grave originally marked only with a wooden cross. The cross weathered away and was lost. His grave was re-located in 1992 and a new headstone was placed on it by his grand-daughter, Maxine Everhart-Lowry.
