Wilbur L. McKinney, 70, Princeton, Mo., died June 7, 2001, at the Princeton Care Center.

Mr. McKinney was born in Mercer County on Jan. 22, 1931, the son of Everett and Edna (Melton) McKinney. He had worked as a truck driver for the ITT Continental Baking Company of Kansas City. He married Peggy George on June 28, 1952, and she survives of the home.

His parents, four brothers, Farrell, Forrest, Marvin and Joe McKinney, and one sister, Marie Jeffries, preceded him in death.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sisters, Arlene Sparks, California, Mo., and Mildred Ryan, Trenton, Mo.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday,June 11, 2001, at the Stoklasa Memorial Chapel in Cainsville. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Cainsville. A family visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
