Steven M. Golden, 53, a resident of Hurontown, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday July 5, 2015. He was born on November 8, 1961, in Hancock a son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Beachamp) Golden. Steve was raised in Dodgeville and was a graduate of the Houghton High School. Following high school, Steve began a career as a mechanic first doing side jobs for family and friends and then working for the K-Mart Automotive repair garage, Integrity Auto and more recently for JB’s in Chassell. Mr. Golden was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and dogs, listening to rock and roll or old time country music and working on his ‘57 Chevy. Preceding him in death were his parents, and his aunts and uncles. Surviving are: His sisters and brother: Margaret (John) Roth of Dodgeville James Golden of Colton, OH Cindy (Dan) Caron of Dodgeville His nieces and nephews: Tonya, Shannon, Douglas, Tammy, Tiffiny, Kathy, John and Kristin. His grandnieces and grandnephews: Selina, Isaiah, Lilana, Austin, Hannah, Travis, Tyler, Trey and Taylor. Numerous cousins and many friends A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Steven will be held 11 am Saturday July 11, 2015, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton with Fr. John Martignon to officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday July 11, 2015 from 10 am until time of services at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton.
