Audrey, 79 of Charlotte, MI. died July 7, 2015. She was born to Kenneth Samuel and Blanche Belle (Brugh) Betz.
She was raised by her mother Blanche and Robert George Reed. Audrey was married to Robert Wood and from this marriage had four children born: Sherry Renee, Michael Dennis, Matthew Robert, and Julie Ann (who died shortly after birth).
In 1981 Audrey married Dale Edward Johnson, who preceded her in death in 2011.
Audrey retired from the State of Michigan. She has enjoyed many years of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time in the U.P. with Dale and his family in the summers. She was very proud of organizing a weekly singing group at the Delta Retirement Center where she resided the last few years where the group continues to enjoy singing.
Audrey enjoyed spending time on crafts, collecting angels and writing stories for her grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her children: Sherry Wood (Gary) Copenhaver, Michael Wood, and Matthew Wood; brother Robin (Sandy) Reed; step-children Alan Johnson, Sara Johnson, Leslie Johnson; grandchildren Randy Pitcher, Troy and Wendy Pitcher, Shawn Pitcher Schmidt, Kristine Wood (Casey) Latchaw, Mark Wood, Len Copenhaver, Calee Johnson and Hunter Johnson; great-grandchildren Jaclynn Pitcher Louden, Jennifer Pitcher Clasgens, Randy Pitcher II, Madaline Pitcher, Rachelle Schmidt Zuk, Chelsea Schmidt, Adam Schmidt, Michael Schmidt, Augast Wood, Amber Wood, Jahnessa Wood, Sara Wood, Gavin Latchaw, Rylan Latchaw, Kendall Latchaw, Amanda Clarke, Levi Clarke, Erica Clarke, Neva Clarke, Troy Pitcher, Jr., Megan Pitcher, Kassidy Pitcher, Austin Copenhaver, Katie Copenhaver, Laci Copenhaver and several great-great grandchildren.
