William Leon McCaghren, 48, of Ardmore, Okla., was killed in an automobile accident near Denton Monday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. He formerly lived at Penelope.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Aderhold-Moore Chapel in West, Rev. Cecil Anderson officiating, burial in Bell Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Opal Stepp McCaghren; two brothers, R.S. McCaghren of Dallas, Luther McCaghren of Texas City; three sisters, Mrs. Creola Burton of Penelope, Mrs. A.J. Lenart of Houston, Mrs. H.L. Patronella of Houston. His father, John W. McCaghren of West, died July 20 of this year.
Mr. McCaghren was born and lived in Ardmore the past four years.
