SOUTH BEND - Philip Stanley Rose, 53, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at his home. Philip was born on March 23, 1962 in South Bend to Philip Gene Rose and Juanita (Karposka) Rose and has been a lifelong resident of the South Bend area. His father, Philip Gene Rose, preceded him in death. Philip was a school bus driver for the South Bend Community School Corporation for over 25 years, and was known as "Mr. Rocky" to the kids on the bus. He was a member of the Miami Trail Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Also a lover of a great variety of music. Philip is survived by his mother, Juanita Monroe of South Bend; sisters, Debbie Rose of Clermont, FL, Marie (Chad) Gortney of Clermont, FL, and Lori (Michael) Strombeck of Granger, four nieces, five nephews, and one great- niece. Memorial services for Philip Stanley Rose will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Miami Trail Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 18950 Roosevelt Road, South Bend, IN 46614. Memorial contributions may be offered to the church. Palmer Funeral Home River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
