Funeral service for Gussie Mae Waldrep, age 96, of Moulton, will be Friday, July 10, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Bowers and Chris Pressnell officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Waldrep, who died Monday, July 6, 2015, at her residence, was born May 7, 1919, in Lawrence County, to Benjamin Franklin Wood and Nannie B. White Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Udell Waldrep, and her parents. Mrs. Waldrep was a member of Flint Church of Christ.

She is survived by three sons, Everett E. Waldrep of Decatur, Larry Waldrep of Colorado Springs, CO, and James W. Waldrep of Decatur; three daughters, Earline Cowens, Peggy Peters, and Martha Breeden, all of Moulton; 43 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association, 4205 Hillsboro Park, Suite 216, Nashville, TN 37215.
