Mrs. Hattie Pinkerton
Mrs. Hattie Pinkerton, wife of Joe Pinkerton, of the Lock Greek Road,
after a lingering illness of several months, died last week. She was a daughter of the late J.E.K. Alexander, so well and favorably known here many years ago, and was 61 years and seven months old at the time of her death.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four children; Hanhan, of Cookville Tn., J.K. of Ridgetop, Tn.; Mrs. O.G. Derseweth, of Evansville, Ind,; Mrs. Carrie Lowrance, of Nashville, and the following brothers and sisters; O.M.Alexander or Readyville; G.W. Alexander of Lebanon; W.C. Alexander, of Amarillo Texas; L.E. Alexander, of Halls Hill; Mrs. Ada Carter, of Greelpy, Colo; Miss Nellie McDonald, of Readyville; and Mrs. C.G. Elrod, of Milton, Tn.

The funeral was held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, with services by Rev. W.H. McPherson, of the Woodbury Presbyterian Church. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in charge of McNight and Harrison, Murfreesboro.
Pallbearers were: Lofton Duggin, J****Fann. Ferman Harris, Noel Hoover, Dr. J.F. Adams and Robert Alexander.
