Mr. Henry Venton "Boozie" Holland, 82 of 515 Herbie Road, Roseboro, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Beulah United Methodist Church, 4610 Corinth Church Road, Roseboro, with Rev. Bobby Herring and Rev. Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Holland was born on May 18, 1933 in Sampson County to the late Minson and Edna McPhail Holland. He was a Veteran of the US Army and worked as a Weaver with Burlington Industries.
He is survived by his wife, Joan C. Holland of the home; two sons, Minson Holland and wife Angela of Roseboro, and Kenneth Ford; one sister, Frances Hollingsworth of Salemburg; four granddaughters, Amber Irvin and husband Dustin, Nicole Holland, Haley Holland, and Hannah Holland all of Roseboro; and one great granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Irvin of Roseboro.
